Reconnaissance planes are the first planes new pilots receive. A second pilot can operate the tail gunner position, even while waiting for his own plane to respawn. They cost 55,000 credits if you have an old fighter pilot who started with a free tier 2 plane.
Recon planes have a health pool of 600.
