|“||The BT-7, or ‘Betka’ as it is called by its crew, is a lightly armored Soviet cavalry tank. It is well armed with a 45mm cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun. It is also the predecessor to the famous T-34.||”|
|― Heroes & Generals|
- The BT-7 has a bit more armor than the T-26 making it a bit less vulnerable to the entry level light tanks. This does not mean they are invulnerable though. Well-placed hits will still wreck your tank.
- The BT-7 has the same 45mm main cannon that is found on the T-26. As with the T-26, armed with BR-240P HVAP ammo which will penetrate up to 80mm of armor, you can take on any light tank you come across including the dreaded M5A1 Stuart.
- Cover will save your life. Fighting in the open is foolish so use hit and run tactics on the battlefield.
