The Diesnstglas is comprised of various metals, is coated in a black lacquer, and finalized with leather, synthetic rubber, and bakelite for ergonomic comfort. They were either worn around the neck on a leather strap, or held in special holsters. Service binoculars were issued to officers, NCOs, artillery spotters, aircraft, and snipers.
