9x19 Parabellum

The 9x19mm Parabellum is a low-caliber pistol cartridge designed in Germany. The name "Parabellum" is derived from the Latin: Si vis pacem, para bellum ("If you seek peace, prepare for war"). The 9x19mm has weak penetration power compared to the .45 ACP, and takes around 3-5 hits to kill. The 9x19mm Parabellum is the standard pistol cartridge used by the German Empire and Nazi Germany. It is used in the Luger P-08, C96, MP34, and MP40.
