Description
“
The ‘King Tiger’ was the most potent tank of WW2. The long barreled 88mm main gun combined with superior German optics enables this beast to easily destroy any tank on the battlefield at ranges beyond 2000 meters.

Tips
Tiger II is the largest tank in Heroes and Generals. Being massive, slow, and very easy to spot, it is best used for defensive purposes in assault games. Leading an assault alone or without adequate infantry support is ill-advised.
Despite being the most heavily armored tank in the game, the Tiger II still has a substantial amount of weakspots. The whole frontal hull (both upper and lower frontal plate) is nearly impenetrable, but the machinegun port is a weakspot; its top turret (roof) section and the signature commander's cupola are easily vulnerable to higher-tiered tank guns/shells (e.g. 85mm or higher caliber APHE on the SU tanks).
Placing distance between a Tiger II and enemy tanks will noticeably reduce the chance for a hit to land on any of Tiger II's weakspots, often forcing opponents to wear through its frontal armor before being able to damage the tank.
With the introduction of damage loss over range in Update 1.22.2 and the changes to penetration ranges and far damage in 1.23.2, the Tiger II's APCR rounds have descended into relative uselessness, dipping too much performance over long distances to be effective as a ranged option. AP should be the primary round against all types of armor threats.
Tiger II is NOT invincible by any means. While a newly spawned Tiger II's armor can stop most incoming shots, the stopped shots will still wear down its armor - eventually to the point the armor becomes obsolete and won't stop any further incoming fire from damaging the tank. Worn armor cannot be repaired unless a new Tiger II is spawned. Avoid getting shot at all to preserve the protection.
Tiger II has a 2-stage sight, allowing it to do reasonably well at range.
Tiger II is almost defenseless against aircraft attacks and spawning one should be avoided when air superiority has not been - at least partially - achieved, by allied pilots. If this is unavoidable, preventing detection from enemy aircraft is desirable. Thick forest, treelines, and shades are your best options.
Wiggling the Tiger II when engaging hostile heavy tanks and HTDs up close can lead to increased survival chance, due to increased difficulty in landing weakspot hits.
Using the Panzerkampfwagen VI 'Tiger II' heavy tank in battle will earn you points on this ribbon. More points are awarded for scoring hits on enemy tanks. The highest award is given for destroying enemy tanks.
